So, I'm looking for skilled photorealism artists interested in giving and receiving advanced and constructive critiques and advice on their Works in Progress. No sugar-coating. If you are interested, write me a note or something, and I'll check out your work to see if it's what I'm looking for.
PLEASE READ: Photorealism is not just plain realism. Photorealism is working off of a photo in attempt to get it looking as real as you possibly can. To the point where you can't tell the difference. It's not about making a likeness or your own interpretation of the subject. It's about getting it the same, or even improving the image. Of course, most of us want to change something in them, and I don't have a problem with it. But, it's hard to critique this style without the reference. So, whoever is interested must show the reference photo(s).
Notice: No mature content, please.

Update-July 24th!
I just finished- no joke- reinforcing my "sketch" book with steel plates. "HUH?" you ask? Well, I bought a convenient little sketch book type thing about a year ago. In one side of the book there's little slots to put pencils, in the other there's a pouch with netting and an elastic band to put a small sketch pad in- or in my case, a piece of glass with my paper taped to it(we use what we can, don't we?). But, I never really used it since it didn't have a hard cover, and therefore couldn't protect my pencils, which have more than an inch of graphite bare. So, a few days ago I asked my teachers if they knew of any material that I could slit the cover open and slip inside to reinforce it with. He said he has a friend who works with metal who can make me something for it.
So, with the equivalent of two dollars worth of steel plates, and a little bit of glue, I now have a steel reinforced sketch book! It now weighs about double its original weight, but who cares!
